'Learning for life, building a firm foundation.'
We will be having a beach day in the school where the children will explore sand, water and other seaside activities, including a visit from the ice cream van.
We will also look at the book ‘Tango Makes Three’, which is about two male penguins at a zoo, who adopt a daughter called Tango. We will explore different types of families, through this text.
Do you like to be beside the seaside?
In Reception this half term we are learning all about the seaside and holidays. We will be learning about different types of sea creatures and the features of the seaside. We will also be writing postcards. This will link to our work around the transition from Reception into Year 1..
