Summer Term 2

'Learning for life, building a firm foundation.'

During this topic we will also learn all about Andy Warhol and create our very own pop art. We will spend time in our new reception classroom and enjoy reading stories with the adults in reception. We will also invite people who help us into nursery so we can learn about different occupations and think about our own hopes and dreams. We will make links to our RE unit, Where do we belong?

We will also be learning more nursery rhymes linked to the topic such as The Wheels on the Bus and Row, Row, Row your Boat.

In nursery this half term we are learning all about different occupations and making links to our own experiences. Our key books will be ‘When I Grow up I want to be…’ by Rosamund Lloyd and In Every House on Every Street by Jess Hitchman.

In every house, on every street . . . there is laughter and tears. There are friends. There is family. And there is love. A heart-warming celebration of homes and all the families that make them.

Please click on the link to join in a lovely song about different occupations:

We will be reading the bible story The Two Builders.
