Reception – 30 children

Mostly made of children that have come up

from the Nursery class.

In Reception we continue to build on the learning that has taken place in Nursery following the same curriculum, though this is carried out in a slightly more structured manner. The children take part in phonics, literacy, maths, PSHE, RE, music and PE as whole class sessions, then in small groups, either with an adult or through a choice of selected activities, that encourage the children to learn independently .

Reception children need to bring their book bag in daily and their PE kits on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Warwickshire School Health & Wellbeing Service COMPASS

provide support to all school children and their families, along with their Nasal Flu Immunisation Programme and Reception Heights & Weights checks. Click on the links for more information from this service
